Individual CoachingAll players are required to record the moves of each game. This enables players to sit down with a coach after their game and review their strategies, providing a unique learning experience tailored to exactly what needs to be learned!
It is also good to get into the habit of sharing knowledge with your opponent. It's very important to be a good winner and a good loser - this coaching encourages post-game interaction. Players have the option to receive individual coaching after each of the 7 tournament games they play. An incredible team of expert coaches will be in the Coaching Lounge, including numerous International Masters and a Women's Grandmaster. Pre-purchase your Coaching Lounge pass for $90 for the two days. Click here to learn how to record your moves. Scorebooks and pens will be provided. We will not be recording games electronically using an internet connected device this year (Exceptions may be made by arrangement, only in the case of a student with a specific disability or medical condition that makes it difficult to record using a pen and paper - Wifi will be available. Enquiries by email to events@chesskids.com.au Download a scoresheet to print and practice.
